The world we live in now is filled with pollution caused by many of our actions. Plastic waste is a major issue not only in Saudi Arabia but worldwide, the problem is the excess use of plastic which causes many kinds of pollution in the world.
Approximately 40% of plastic is used for packaging ((PARKER, 2018). What if we find a solution that could cut out 40% of the use of plastic in the world? The use of plastic bottles, plastic bags, effects the environment in many ways, do you know what happens to a bottle of water after you finish using it? plastic sits in a waste taking up space in the world, a water bottle takes 1000 years to decompose, also a bottle can end up on a stream which flows to the ocean and then goes to where trash accumulates.
On the other hand, very little plastic waste gets recycled and reused first into raw material then be used again. The water can be affected, animals can be affected, and the land, we need to think of an idea to reduce the waste, find a way that individuals and companies can use to make the environment safer and better for humans and animals. Plastic is a disease it travels everywhere.
We want to reduce Plastic pollution by developing a Vending machine which collect plastic and gives you money in return for it, the access should be easy so everybody can contribute, we provide it everywhere in universities, metro stations it will encourage people to collect plastic to get money in return.
