Aaron Trinidad (Lender)

Based on the NFTE pitch I think Aaron is a very well-educated and driven young individual. He has researched endless statistics and provided evidence for his business plan. I think Aaron’s entire business plan was thought out from a lack of a need. The application is very straightforward and has aspects to keep users motivated to continue using Lender. Gamification and the right swipe feature are very modern features and will attract the more tech-savvy generations towards the application, in turn providing more volunteers for non-profits.

Another thing Aaron does well is realizing who his target markets are and what they need, not only is his concentration on students who need volunteer hours, but also the non-profits who need volunteers. The only disappointment for me as a viewer was not being able to see his prototype firsthand.

Jasmine Adams (Smudgies)

Like Aaron, I can tell that Jasmine is a hard-working individual as well as very self-motivated. Smudgies is a great idea because it came from her specific needs. She faced a problem and effectively developed a solution on her own without much thought. I think Jasmine has a great business plan and I think she did well all around with her pitch. The only thing I would tell Jasmine is to continue her hard work and one day she will reach her goal and sell
