Option 1: Use of Land Summary of the Report You’ve been promoted to assistant director of health and safety at a hazardous waste company. Your company wants to buy land for a garbage disposal facility. You must submit an executive summary to the state government in order to get approval for the land use. Your summary should inform local businesses and government officials about your prospective property purchase as well as your intention to follow hazardous waste rules. Write a 1,050- to 1,400-word executive summary for a hazardous waste company’s environmental health and safety director. In your executive summary, include the following:

Examine the current hazardous waste and land management policies.

Describe your community’s possible hazardous waste and land management issues.

Describe the current political perspective in your state for hazardous waste and land management policy. Describe the theories and policies from the past that have influenced current methods.

Describe the policies’ desired outcomes, as well as how they might affect change.
