Business & Finance Homework Help Case Assignment
This assignment consists of 2 parts , I did part 1 and now I need part 2 , 1 page only 275 words
Hypothesis: Due to the current economic instability, young people no longer enroll for college education. There is a link between present economic status of a country and the level of education among its people. According to research, a negative growth in the economy affects the unemployment rate within any given economic setting. As
such, those in high school face a harder time trying to get any kind of job that they can do after school. Moreover, college graduates end up doing low skilled labor, unpaid internships and even low wages. With such statistics, it becomes hard for young people to value college education. Furthermore, with the economy instability and
increasing living cost, the price of college education increases every day. Statistic Brain, a financial research group, cites that college tuition within the private sector has a continuous increases of 4.5% while that of public universities increases by 8.3%. According to an article on dukechronicle.com, a research done found out that there
was a high decrease in the number of those who enrolled in universities as well as colleges across America. This can be attributed to the economic downturn of 2008. The down side of an economic stability among the young people is the lack of jobs that comes after when they graduate from school. With school tuition loans to pay with
no jobs, it becomes stressing to keep up with the repayment. 53% of all college students are currently unemployed, working for low wages or are in low-skilled jobs. Such economic instability will definitely deter young people from enrolling into colleges unless as solution is found; thus supporting the hypothesis: Due to the current
economic instability, young people no longer enroll for college education.
