This assignment is intended to help you learn how to access and use the DSM 5 to render a provisional diagnosis. You will be graded on your ability to provide a diagnostic rationale concerning a differential diagnosis of your “client.” In order to “build your case” you should consider relevant background and history (signs and symptoms) of the character as presented in the movie. You should also briefly discuss the best forms of treatment for this person and possible prognosis. Please address whether or not the film conveys a valid and accurate account of the disorder.
