Management Information System has been very helpful in managing my clients in the process of implementing the Identity Access Management System in my organization where I would often be communicating with my clients regarding the their requirements from our system, and how we could customize their requirement if the standard functionality is not hoping them to
achieve the User Access Request process. I also get to discuss with my technical team members about the feasibility of implementing the clients’ requirement, the risks of implementing the same and/or any alternatives to over come the situation to intimately satisfy our customer needs. MIS course is being useful to me in understanding the way of work we should perform my
duties as a leader and take the appropriate decisions during the implementation/deployment process. I am able to learn the different types processes involved in Information Technology and how adopt the appropriate one to successfully achieve the organization goal by reducing the errors, cost of operations, right way of communication and gathering the relevant information
needed to complete the task and choosing the appropriate persons to discuss on the project.
Regulatory compliances has been a major topic and task in my professional and academic career, I have seen the inconsistency and incompatibility at my work place on the adaptability of the SOX controls in our software development life cycle. I would propose a process change of adopting the regulatory compliances at initial stage of development, so that we can avoid any delays
or issues in future.
