If public, what are the characteristics of the general community? Is it an area with a large number of children or seniors? What is the average income level? What access do patrons have to outside resources – interlibrary loans, computer databases, etc.? What is the relationship between the community and the library collection? You can use circulation data to showcase usage. What sources were used to obtain the information for the community analysis? Reference your textbooks for supporting documentation and provide citations for all sources consulted. Summarize your findings in a concluding paragraph.
